St Clair Tri-County Staff Training & Development Committee Presents…
Sensory Integration and Anxiety
Through the Occupational Therapy lens, Alison Hendricks will discuss Sensory Integration and Processing and how it relates to the potential anxieties of the people you support.
Alison Hendricks is the director and one of the treating OTs at Collaborative Approach Therapy Services (CATS) Guelph. Alison firmly believes that collaboration results in the best outcomes. This includes collaborations professionally, within our community and with the families and individuals we serve. It is for this reason that she is excited to collaborate with the Tri-County Staff Training & Development Committee to further your knowledge regarding sensory integration and it’s affect on anxiety.
As an occupational therapist Alison graduated from McGill University in 2008 and started her career at Homewood Health Centre, before moving into private OT. Alison enjoys the continued learning that comes with being an Occupational Therapist. Over the course of her years as an OT, Alison has had further training in Sensory Integration, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, Progressive Goal Attainment Program and more.
