The Tri-County Staff Training and Development Committee was established to identify staff training needs of the Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services funded agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The purpose of the committee is to complement current staff training efforts of the individual agencies. Given the limited funds designated for staff training needs, the committee endeavours to facilitate Tri-County workshops to meet this end. The committee also works with Community Planning committees in the Tri-County area to support community development and educational workshops. This committee is supported by the Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services.
